About Dr. Lu

Charles Lu (DMin, PhD) holds a doctorate in biblical studies with a particular emphasis in Hebrew analysis; he has done his doctoral studies under the distinguished Prof. Dr. Anne Davis (Trinity Southwest Univ. Prof. of Biblical Studies, founder of BibleInteract (BI) and Bible Learning University (BLU).

劉相博士(DMin, PhD)擁有聖經研究博士學位，他特別著重於希伯來語分析。他在著名的希伯來語教授安妮·戴維斯 （Dr. Anne Davis）（她是西南大學三位一體聖經研究學院的教授，BibleInteract–聖經互動法, 和Bible Learning University–聖經學習大學的創始人）的領導下進行博士學位的研究。

          “BibleInteract presenters are well-known and respected experts in their fields, who are
asked to speak all over the world. They are teachers who bring their students to a deeper
understanding about Scripture, rather than preachers who offer an uplifting message.

Currently, Dr. Lu teaches biblical Hebrew course at two universities/seminaries. He is a professor of biblical Hebrew at Grace Mission University (GMU), as well as an instructor for Hebrew online course at BI/BLU, he is also involved as a Technical Director/Course Designer for the BI’s on-line teaching program – Canvas, as well as serving as a member of the board of directors for BI/BLU. On top of his university teaching positions,  Dr. Lu also has an active on-line ministry interacting with students from five continents;  Dr. Lu’s students are spreading among more than 30 countries world-wide. Dr. Lu believes that Yehovah who ushers this magnificent language of Hebrew into this special time is for His glory and a particular purpose for the bride-of-Christ. The Old Testament Tanach reminds us this powerful declaration from prophet Zephaniah, “For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.” (Zep. 3:9 KJV)

劉博士認為，耶和華將希伯來語這種優雅壯麗的語言帶入這個特殊的時代，是關於祂的榮耀和對屬於基督身體的新娘有特殊目的。舊約聖經提醒我們先知西番雅那有力的宣告：“那時，我必使萬民用清潔的言語好求告我─耶和華的名，同心合意地事奉我。 ” （西3:9 ）

Dr. Lu has done many missionary works in Asia and South America; he has produced numerous radio programs and teaching materials for the body-of-Christ. He has a strong web presence; his personal teaching site is  Hebrew the Living Word  he also has a YouTube channel where he regularly releases teaching videos. He is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker; he also has done many TV interviews regarding the Hebrew language.  He is also a classically-trained musician; he composes a wide variety of styles, ranging from simple worship melodies to music for a string quartet. He is also an accomplished instrumentalist, he plays the Baroque theorbo (a 26-string large lute), Renaissance 8-course lute and the modern classical guitar.
